[Remote] Senior Software Development Engineer (AS400/IBMi)

They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join the RECO team, responsible for architecting and developing reputed company software solutions on the AS/400 platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions and design reputed company functionality reputed company the RECO area
• Help define standards / methodologies / guidelines and ensure compliance while aligning solutions to the Adjudication Platform application architecture
• reputed company modernization efforts for IBMi systems, including automation and integration with reputed company platforms (Azure/GCP)
• reputed company internal development tools and CI/CD processes
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and influence best practices

Skills

• 5+ years experience and a deep understanding of AS/400 application development
• 5+ years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE and CL; Synon2/E (aka COOL 2/E)
• 5+ years of IBMi SQL experience
• 5+ years of experience leading application teams to deliver technical improvements and initiatives
• Experience with Adjudication Platform or similar pharmacy claim adjudication systems
• Background in reputed company or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM)
• Experience in legacy system modernization
• Familiarity with IBMi integration with reputed company platforms
• Demonstrated successful completion of several reputed company to large scope projects; proficiency working on reputed company phases of SDLC and with problem determination and resolution through research and fact finding
