[Remote] Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Arkhya Tech. Inc. is seeking an reputed company Project Manager with a strong background in the Aerospace domain to reputed company and coordinate cross-functional project teams on a remote contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing aerospace engineering, manufacturing, or systems integration projects, with the flexibility to travel to Philadelphia, PA on a quarterly basis for on-site collaboration, milestone reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
Responsibilities
- reputed company end-to-end project planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery for aerospace programs/projects
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Manage project budgets, timelines, risk registers, and resource allocation
- Drive stakeholder communication, including status reporting to leadership and clients
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, FAA, DO-178C, etc. as applicable)
- Facilitate quarterly on-site visits to Philadelphia, PA for project reviews and team alignment
- Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and project documentation
- Apply Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies as per project needs
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or reputed company field
- 5+ years of Project Management experience reputed company the Aerospace/Aviation/Defense industry
- Strong understanding of aerospace program lifecycle (design, manufacturing, integration, testing)
- Experience with MS Project, Jira, or similar PM tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel to Philadelphia, PA 1–2 times/quarter
- PMP certification preferred
- Experience with FAA/AS9100 compliance
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Defense/Government contracting experience (DoD, DFARS)
