Development Project Manager - Entitlements & Design
reputed company. is reputed company America's largest automotive services company, and they are seeking a Development Project Manager specializing in entitlements and construction administration. The successful candidate will reputed company regulatory and developmental aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and managing project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Define site scope and project timeline for entitlements
- Allocate resources needed to entitle projects quickly
- Manage a detailed project schedule and work plan in reputed company
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to internal and external stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and reputed company
- Manage reputed company with consultants by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Monitor reputed company and adjust as needed
Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in construction permitting, entitlements, zoning, land use or a combination of these
- Ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline with experience seeing projects through reputed company estate kick off to construction start
- Ability to read, analyze and translate/summarize civil and building construction drawings – including irrigation, utility, and MEP plans
- Ability to read, analyze and translate/summarize government and legal code/statues = including Building Code, Land Use/Zoning, Development Ordinance, Code Enforcement Policies
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills - not afraid to reputed company phone calls, negotiate and over-communicate both internally and externally with consultants and stakeholders
- Independently motivated and keen to work with a team - reputed company to work independently on assigned projects and open to assist teammates and ask for help from teammates reputed company needed
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and resourcefully
- Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
- Initiative and bias for action, on-time delivery, and operational excellence
- Honest and direct without any ego
- Ability to utilize, or quickly learn to use multiple software applications including Smartsheets, reputed company, and Protrack
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Public Policy or other research-focused program preferred, but not required
- Experience with AutoCAD highly recommended
