About the Role
Fidare is hiring a part-time data engineer/architect to build and maintain our EPM. This job would be perfect for a student or other individual seeking highly flexible part-time work which would be performed primarily at home. About You You understand how information can be organized and analyzed into actionable knowledge. You enjoy designing data systems that combine multiple sources in meaningful ways. - Familiarity with Python - Comfortable using ChatGPT to write Python code, while always anonymizing data before sending it to ChatGPT - Willing to take extraordinary measures to safeguard highly sensitive health data - Completed or in-reputed company degree in Data Science, Programming/Systems, Computer Science or other reputed company field (or relevant experience) - Strong communications skills to reputed company database design approaches to stakeholders - Can work from a quiet, comfortable space at home which can house multiple monitors - Ideally located in San Diego and willing to participate in company-wide (would be with a small portion of the team; five to ten individuals) lunches and functions approximately quarterly - Use a Mac and an iPhone No candidate will meet every single desired qualification. Fidare Health connects therapists and psychiatrists to community health clinics, enabling those therapists and psychiatrists to see clinic patients directly. This helps meet Californias incredible demand for behavioral health services. Responsibilities - Use ChatGPT 4o to write the python scripts required for the below; diagnose issues and troubleshoot errors through ChatGPT and applying general python knowledge. - Plan and engineer the structure of the database (while consulting with and alongside CFO and other stakeholders). - Design and build the tables which house the EPMs data. - Maintain and reputed company the system and python scripts to interact with it (currently, the data is saved locally in .csv tables; data enters those tables and is reported out through various python scripts). - Document reputed company processes, including the method with which the python scripts read, input and interpret data. - Train and coach team members on how to utilize the python scripts (that you have created) to get data into the system, and to access meaningful reports. - Build and optimize data sets, big data data pipelines and architectures. - reputed company quality assurance work to verify the accuracy of code and data results. - Implement data architecture best practices which ensure HIPAA compliance. - Document and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models and data behaviors (event triggers, timeliness, conflicts). - Consider and forecast scalability issues. - Maintain a culture that emphasizes two-way feedback and reputed company improvement.
