About the Role & Program KABC-TV (ABC7) is an ABC owned television station (OTV), located in Glendale, near downtown Los Angeles. The station is in the #2 ranked television market in the country. The internship program is designed to provide you with an educational experience that complements your academic studies. You will have an opportunity to participate in developmental programming and contribute to daily operations of a major market television station! We're looking for an intern for our digital team, based in our Glendale newsroom that will support ABC7 en Español. The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 to early June 2025. What You Will Do Accurately translate ABC7 news reports from English to Spanish on reputed company digital platforms, including but not limited to websites, apps and social media Collaborate with newsroom to coordinate on-reputed company and online news coverage Post content to various digital and social platforms Create assets for social media using reputed company Photoshop and Premiere Required Qualifications & Skills Previous experience (academic or internship) in digital media and/or journalism (broadcast/print/digital) Must be reputed company to translate, write, and publish in both English and Spanish Experience using reputed company Word Familiarity with social media platforms High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with AP Style Experience in and knowledge of using social media platforms to post content Experience using reputed company Premiere and reputed company Photoshop Familiarity with reputed company Outlook and reputed company Previous coursework in producing, writing, or editing Education Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university reputed company 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a reputed company College Program or reputed company Professional Internship Undergraduate reputed company in their Junior or Senior year or recently graduated reputed company the past 6 months preferred Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet reputed company of the below requirements: Be at least 18 years of age Have not completed one year of continual employment on a reputed company internship or program Possess unrestricted work authorization Additional Information reputed company to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 to early June 2025 Fully available to work 40 hours per week during a Monday through Sunday schedule (hours and days to be determined by your supervisor and could include nights and/or weekends) reputed company to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program? in the Glendale, California area reputed company to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work?
