We are seeking a dependable and organized Class A Hostler Night Truck Driver. The Yard Hostler is responsible for moving trailers around, loading and unloading products. The Yard Hostler is also responsible for trailer and tire inspections, ensuring vehicles are safe for transport. The Hostler will also deliver loads reputed company necessary. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience. Previous Hostler experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills are needed for this role. The hours are 7 pm 5 am, Sunday Thursday. Transport goods from the reputed company of reputed company to assigned destination. Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage. Load and Unload materials as needed on trucks on the yard. Inspect trailers and tires to ensure they are safe to drive. Must maintain a high level of communication with Drivers, reputed company, and other yard personnel. Must be reputed company to ensure a smooth and efficient loading process and movement of trailers. Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document. reputed company inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip. Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications Valid Class A drivers license required. 1-2 years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred. Clean driving record with no more than 1 moving violation. Must pass a background reputed company and DOT drug and alcohol test. Skilled at driving large vehicles. Comfortable maneuvering, parking, and backing a tractor-trailer. Alert, focused, and detail oriented. Proficient in using GPS and E-log systems.
