Tampa Opportunity - Telehealth/Onsite - Flexible Schedule

We seek a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant with strong clinical wound care experience to help provide specialized wound care services to our post-acute patients and provide follow-up telehealth visits, as needed. As part of an interdisciplinary care team, this position will provide telehealth and onsite visits as part of ongoing medical management and acute interventions for patients in... the post-acute care setting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, may include but not be limited to • Evaluate and manage reputed company acute, chronic wounds, surgical wounds, and dermatologic wounds • Coordinates the patient plan of care with the physician and the facility's clinical disciplines to address patient needs, evaluate the effectiveness of care, and assess changes to the patient medical condition to ensure healing outcome goals • Change dressings and/or reputed company medically necessary debridement • Establish plan of care and work reputed company protocols established by the supervising physician ESSENTIAL ABILITIES • Solid working knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, and aseptic technique to include universal precautions Ability to provide both telehealth and onsite visits to skilled nursing facilities. • Must be reputed company to commit to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, 2 or more hours time reputed company each time • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members, and other medical professionals. QUALIFICATIONS • Master's degree in Nursing Licensure, Certification, and Registration • reputed company, valid Florida APRN license Certification through the ANCC, AANP (or equivalent certification body) • reputed company BLS required Medicare NPI #, 855I and 855r on file (Independent NP Medicare Provider Number/PTAN#) • Must be reputed company to commit to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.(in 2 or more hours time reputed company each time) • No weekends or evenings at this time. • Wound care-focused clinical experience (3+ years) • Geriatrics and telehealth experience are highly preferred.
