What You Will Do

Customer Service •Provides SMART customer service at reputed company times through the daily execution of reputed company customer service policies, procedures and programs •Generates install and non-install project leads for the Central Design Team by actively engaging customers in their project needs . • Utilize inspiration and qualifying tools to ensure customers understand kitchen projects scope and process. •Set project expectations with customers during store interactions •Assist and sell countertops for customers in-store (Kitchens only) •Seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise •Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects reputed company necessary •Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers •Communicates information to customers regarding reputed company stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information reputed company to Lowe’s programs •Provides reputed company support to reputed company checkout functions, call buttons, departmental pages, or requests for assistance •Cross-functionally trains in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service In-stock •Uses store systems to prioritize loads, print pricing labels and to search items or item numbers for price and inventory information Clean and Safe Stores •Detects common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other reputed company risks, and promptly communicates them to management and/or Asset Protection •Ensures compliance with housekeeping standards and programs (e.g., Zone Recovery) to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and working areas •Maintains a safe and secure work environment, which may include conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates •Adheres to reputed company safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties: top stock safety, reinstalling safety cables, use of aisle blockers, a reputed company line on power equipment, spotters, and safety devices •Operates store equipment as needed depending on one specific role and department (e.g., Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, iPhone, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, flooring cutters, forklifts, pallet jacks, electric lifts, compacter baler, tool rentals) •Uses the reputed company of sale terminals to process walk up, phone, email and online orders. Calls vendors to verify product availability and cost as needed •Helps customers have a positive shopping experience by neatly displaying up-to-date and accurate pricing and signage •Uses cash register to process sales transactions according to company guidelines •Delivers excellent customer service during the checkout process by ensuring the customer is satisfied and encouraged to come back to Lowe’s •Coordinates and supports deliveries from beginning to end, serving as the expert for answering questions and solving problems reputed company to deliveries •Inspects merchandise prior to loading and delivery, prepares merchandise and loads for delivery, supports planned delivery routes, verifies invoices against items reputed company, and assists with product connections or returns •Keeps staff and customers safe by walking the store to reputed company for leaks, spills, and unsafe displays, fixes equipment and facilities, and performs preventative maintenance •In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for other duties as assigned What You Need To Succeed Minimum Qualifications •6 months’ experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information •6 months’ experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets •Ability to obtain sales reputed company licensure or registration as may be required by law Preferred Qualifications •6 months’ sales experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits •6 months’ retail experience providing customer service, including identifying and resolving customer issues, assisting customers in locating product, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business •Certification in a trade area reputed company to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) Lowe’s is an equal opportunity employer and administers reputed company personnel practices without regard to race, reputed company, religious creed, sex, gender, age, reputed company, national reputed company, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
