Warehouse Worker - Mid Morning/Day Shift - Austell, GA
Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Mid Morning/Day Warehouse Worker in Austell, GA. Hiring Immediately! $19.75 Hourly Monday through Thursday 10am to 7:30pm Friday - 10am to 2pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities This person will pull orders, stock, store, and distribute inventory and products reputed company the warehouse. This person will also load trucks for next day delivery. Utilizes computerized inventory systems to include reputed company and KEA. Reads schedules, orders and other requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Transfers inventory lines to vehicles for next day deliveries. Replenishes inventory lines as needed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, reputed company, or product code. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and places inventory on vehicles. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated areas. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Repacks containers as necessary. Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. Operates various pieces of warehouse equipment (reputed company Pickers, Forklifts, Slip Sheet, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jacks, etc). Assist with counting of inventory. Cleans and maintains warehouse daily according to clean up specifications as directed by team reputed company and management. Other duties as assigned by the Morning Manager, Supervisor, and reputed company. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Forklift Certificate - Must have the ability to receive and sustain a license to drive a forklift. Computer Skills Basic Computer Skills.
