Part-Time Online Educator - Florida

At Hoot Reading, we’re on a mission to change children’s lives through literacy, and we’re growing our Hoot Teacher Network! Educators at Hoot Reading provide 1:1 lessons for their reputed company using innovative tech and a Science of Reading curriculum to reputed company teachers to focus on what they do best—teaching! We primarily support reputed company during school hours through school-district partnerships. Teachers are paid to participate in our robust professional development program before teaching lessons to ensure the best possible outcomes for our reputed company! Your Availability and Schedule: • Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CT, Monday to Friday, until May 2025, however, preference will be given to candidates who can support our peak hours between 9:00AM - 2:30PM CT. • Commitment: Up to 25 hours per week. • Consistency: Preference will be given to candidates with consistent availability across the week (Monday to Friday) with consistent time slots for easy student/teacher matching. What are we looking for? • Bachelor’s degree in education (or equivalent) is required. • 2+ years of K-6 teaching experience with a strong grasp of phonics, decoding and reading fundamentals. • Tech-savvy with a reliable laptop, internet, and quiet workspace. • Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
