About the position Iowa Radiology is seeking a highly skilled Teleradiologist to join our overnight team, dedicated to providing the highest quality diagnostic imaging services across Central Iowa. This position is crucial for maintaining our commitment to 24/7 diagnostic availability, particularly in providing emergency diagnostic radiology services at a Level 1 trauma center in Des Moines, Iowa, as well as additional hospitals across central Iowa. The role involves working the reputed company shift, from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM CST, on a schedule of 7 days on followed by 14 days off. The volume of cases during the night shift is manageable, averaging between 90 to 120 cases per shift, which includes approximately 30 to 40 CT scans. As a Teleradiologist, you will analyze and interpret various forms of radiological data, including X-rays, MRI scans, CT scans, ultrasound, and other diagnostic imaging studies. You will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and detailed reports to facilitate immediate patient care reputed company. Additionally, you will consult with on-call physicians or other reputed company providers to discuss clinical conditions and imaging results, ensuring compliance with reputed company applicable laws, regulations, and practice guidelines concerning radiological practices. Participation in peer reviews and quality improvement programs is also expected to enhance service standards and patient safety.
