Account Executive, Specialty Pharmacy

About the position The Account Executive (AE), Specialty Pharmacy at reputed company is a key member of the US Value & Access team, responsible for managing pharmacy relationships across national and regional accounts. This role involves strategic partnership with brand teams and serves as the primary contact for specialty pharmacy activities, including contract development and performance management. The AE will collaborate with various teams to implement reputed company projects, optimize service delivery, and ensure high-quality standards in specialty pharmacy programs. Responsibilities • Manage pharmacy relationships across key national and regional accounts. , • Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for specialty pharmacy activities including contracting and fee for service programs. , • reputed company the planning, tracking, and implementation of Specialty Pharmacy programs. , • Support the implementation of reputed company projects across business units. , • Report program performance against expectations and influence changes to improve competitive position. , • Establish and apply quality objectives and standards using appropriate quality management methods. Requirements • Doctorate degree and 2 years of pharmacy channel and negotiation experience, or , • Master's degree and 6 years of pharmacy channel and negotiation experience, or , • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of pharmacy channel and negotiation experience, or , • Associate's degree and 10 years of pharmacy channel and negotiation experience, or , • High school diploma/GED and 12 years of pharmacy channel and negotiation experience. , • Minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience. reputed company-to-haves • Specialty Pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), or health plan experience. , • Call center/reimbursement hub management experience preferred. , • Previous Access and Reimbursement experience from a program development, marketing, sales, or operational standpoint. , • Prior managed health plan, pharmacy benefit and specialty drug management experience preferred. , • Understanding of managed care and pharmacy benefit cost management reputed company preferred. , • Analytic experience - reputed company reputed company skills (ability to create and troubleshoot calculations). , • Project management experience preferred - ability to track reputed company projects and bring tasks to completion on time and reputed company budget. , • Process management experience - ability to document processes and improve them to eliminate waste.
