Responsibilities • Responsible for remotely verifying medication orders entered after normal pharmacy hours. , • Verifies prescribed medications according to professional standards, facility procedures, and state and federal legal requirements. , • Reviews patient's medication profile for allergies, possible interactions, and appropriateness of the medication order. , • Clarifies medication orders by contacting the nursing staff or the on-duty provider. , • Communicates with on-site pharmacy staff regarding non-urgent follow-up for orders.
