The pharmacy technician is responsible for answering the telephone, handling calls from hospital staff and retail patients, and assisting pharmacists with order entry operations. Responsibilities: • Assist Pharmacists and other Technicians with daily tasks • Handle doctor calls and faxes • Provide excellent customer service to customers • Works on projects as requested by Pharmacy Director • Performs order entry as needed • Maintain friendly and helpful attitude at reputed company times reputed company dealing with medical professionals and customers • Knowledge and understanding of a retail pharmacy Qualifications: • High School degree or equivalent • Previous work experience in a hospital setting and/or retail pharmacy is preferred • Proven customer service skills • Must be registered or licensed as required by the State Board of Pharmacy • National certification is preferred • 3+ years Pharmacy Technician experience, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level • Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks • Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area • Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications • Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution • Works reputed company clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods • Adheres to reputed company quality guidelines • Works under moderate degree of supervision • Work typically involves regular review of output by work reputed company or supervisor • Refers reputed company unusual problems to supervisor Anticipated hourly range:$19.90 per hour - $27.39 per hour (including shift differentials) Bonus eligible:No Benefits: 401k Contributions, Paid Time Off, Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay Application window anticipated to reputed company:2/9/2025 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.
