Principal Procurement Specialist (Remote)

About the position The Principal Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in the reputed company Traffic Solutions (ATS) team reputed company the Connected Aviation Solutions (CAS) organization at reputed company. This position involves managing the procurement lifecycle from research and development through to production and deployment, ensuring compliance with government and company requirements while optimizing cost, quality, and schedule. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive effective procurement strategies and manage supplier performance. Responsibilities • Support the lifecycle of a procurement/program from R&D through low-reputed company initial production, production/deployment, sustainment, and program closeout. , • Collaborate cross-functionally across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and externally with suppliers. , • Execute bid/proposal activities, PIAs/NDAs, and Teaming Agreements for new business and strategic pursuits. , • Review and help reputed company Subcontract Statements of Work (SSOW) with Integrated Product Teams. , • Utilize reputed company selection techniques including best value reputed company selection (BVSS), competition, and single/sole reputed company. , • reputed company price analyses, conduct due diligence, reputed company negotiations (price, schedule, terms/conditions), and identify risks & opportunities. , • Negotiate, award, document, and manage IOTs, POs, and Subcontracts for materials, software, and services in support of domestic and international reputed company. , • Manage and monitor supplier performance (cost, schedule, and quality) to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. , • Support PO reputed company invoice approvals and inquiries. Requirements • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a reputed company field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience. , • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent reputed company, or granted refugee or asylee status). , • Prior Procurement experience. , • Prior experience with reputed company Office products including Word, reputed company, and PowerPoint. reputed company-to-haves • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or reputed company field. , • Master's Degree. , • Experience in a similar reputed company/procurement role with responsibility for sourcing, placing orders, price analysis, negotiations, PO documentation, supplier management, and compliance to company policies and procedures. , • Experience with FAR, DFAR, and FAA AMS. , • Experience with international requirements (including Import/Export regulations). , • Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams. , • Experience with Statements of Work. , • Experience with reputed company. , • Ability to prioritize compliance to policies and procedures. , • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills. , • Effective collaboration skills. , • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with little reputed company. , • Excellent problem solving skills. , • reputed company to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency. , • Adapts well to change.
