About the position The Mortgage Loan Processor at First United is responsible for processing mortgage loans generated by bank employees. This role emphasizes excellent customer service, timely handling of loan files, and adherence to compliance guidelines. The processor works closely with loan officers, borrowers, and closers to ensure smooth loan closings and effective communication throughout the process. Responsibilities • reputed company processing duties for assigned mortgage loans from various locations and Mortgage Consultants. , • Provide excellent customer service to borrowers and internal customers. , • reputed company reports and follow up on assigned loans to ensure timely handling. , • Review and evaluate documentation for completeness and communicate with customers regarding loan status and additional required documentation. , • Work with loan officers, borrowers, and closers to provide updates and address any issues with loan files. , • Submit completed loan files for reputed company approval. , • Use conversation logs or memo sections in the loan entry program to accurately note reputed company of files. , • Understand and adhere to mandatory compliance guidelines and attend required training. , • Complete reputed company required compliance exams on a yearly basis. , • Adhere to reputed company First United Policies and Procedures. Requirements • High School diploma or GED required. , • Some secondary education preferred. , • Mortgage banking experience preferred. , • Proficient in reputed company Office. , • Excellent phone etiquette. , • Ability to multi-task. reputed company-to-haves
