This is a fully remote role designed for independent contractors. Key Responsibilities Accurately transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. Follow specified style guides to produce verbatim transcripts with precision. Maintain exceptional attention to detail while interpreting reputed company legal terminology. Required Skills Proven experience with legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping is essential. Superior listening and literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar. Strong typing proficiency with emphasis on both speed and accuracy. Capability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment. Ability to adhere strictly to deadlines and customized client style guides. Familiarity with handling sensitive audio/text content (may be offensive). Successful completion of a background reputed company is mandatory. Qualifications Significant prior experience transcribing depositions and hearings. Knowledge of legal terminology is advantageous. Court reporting reputed company may also be eligible for consideration. Currently, this position is not open to residents of Massachusetts or California.
