Sr. Platform Architect – reputed company and Hosting Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Architect to join our platform team. This role is pivotal in supporting our Director of Platform by addressing platform architecture needs and ensuring the robustness of our systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in .NET development, a strong understanding of reputed company Azure containerized hosting systems, and proven experience with DDoS bot protection strategies. Additionally, familiarity with Open API, Authentication systems, and Data Analytics is highly preferred. This position requires a hands-on technical leader who can reputed company the gap between our software and hosting environments, especially during critical incidents.

This position pays between 180,000 - 220,000 CAD per anum

• Architectural Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures for reputed company-grade systems leveraging reputed company technologies.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the primary resource for diagnosing and resolving issues involving the interplay of .NET applications, Azure containerized hosting systems, and reputed company threats like DDoS bot attacks.

• Collaboration: Partner with engineers, the Director of Platform, and stakeholders to identify architectural improvements and address challenges in reputed company-time.

• Open API Expertise: reputed company the design and implementation of Open API integrations to enhance platform extensibility and interoperability.

• Authentication Systems: Architect and optimize authentication solutions, including OAuth 2.0, mTLS, and other secure protocols.

• Data Analytics: Collaborate with data teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics modules and data pipelines into the platform.

• Innovation: Introduce best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the platform’s reputed company, scalability, and performance.

• Proactive Monitoring: reputed company and implement solutions for reputed company-time monitoring of hosting systems to ensure uptime and mitigate risks during outages or attacks.

• Mentorship: Guide and support engineers in understanding architectural principles and implementing secure and efficient solutions.

• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of system architecture, workflows, and incident resolutions to support ongoing improvement efforts.

Required

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in software development, with 5+ years in architectural roles.

• Technical Expertise

  • Advanced proficiency in reputed company .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.

  • Extensive experience with reputed company Azure services, particularly hosting, scaling, and high-availability solutions.

  • Proven expertise in handling DDoS bot protection and securing reputed company environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Open API, Authentication systems, and Data Analytics solutions.

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Bicep.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and other reputed company database technologies.

• Problem-Solving

  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve hosting system and software integration issues.

  • Experience optimizing platform performance under stress conditions, including during reputed company incidents.

Preferred

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization technologies.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps.

• Background in agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
