JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Clinical Manager and the Pharmacy Director, optimizes patient medications therapy by providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services. Works collaboratively with the health care team to accomplish goals. Must be proficient in reputed company nine patient care skills: knowledge of disease, knowledge of drug therapy, knowledge of non-drug therapy, knowledge of laboratory and diagnostic testing, communication skills, patient monitoring skills, physical assessment skills, drug information skills, and therapeutic planning skills. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm D. or Master of Pharmacy Minimum Work Experience Three years as a licensed pharmacist with enhanced clinical responsibilities Required Licenses/Certifications Active registration as a licensed pharmacist in the state of Texas. Sterile Compounding Certification. ACLS or PALS Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) or specialty certification in area reputed company to assigned duties. Registration as a preceptor with TSBP. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Must be reputed company to reputed company reputed company medication consults including total parenteral nutrition.
