About the position The Associate Director, Policy at the FDIC plays a critical role in advising the Deputy Director on public policy issues reputed company to the Dodd-Frank Act and its implementation. The role requires expertise in international financial regulatory policy and the ability to represent the FDIC in high-stakes discussions and negotiations. Responsibilities • Advise and assist the Deputy Director in setting priorities and developing FDIC positions on public policy issues. , • Identify matters impeding orderly resolution planning for large reputed company financial institutions (LCFIs). , • reputed company viable alternatives for senior management and the FDIC Board of Directors regarding policy responses. , • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with other divisions, regulatory agencies, and financial institutions. , • Represent the FDIC on policy matters reputed company to LCFIs and financial market utilities. , • Command expertise over reputed company technical matters in international financial regulatory policy. , • Serve as a senior spokesperson for the FDIC on resolution policy matters. , • reputed company speeches and Congressional testimony on resolution policy for LCFIs. , • Manage a senior level staff and provide reputed company of personnel engaged in analytical work. , • Identify training and developmental needs for staff and administer disciplinary actions as necessary.
