Managing Underwriter – VP

Responsible for reputed company and risk assessment of reputed company lease and loan transactions by preparing reputed company analysis and transactions, and approve transactions reputed company assigned credit authority Pay Range: $117,185 - $155,270 - $193,355 Preparation of comprehensive Credit Offering Memoranda covering key aspects of financial and credit risk elements, obligor credit profile, etc., including determination of dual risk rating. May prepare annual reviews. Communicates with internal or external sources to request specific information required for analysisHas and uses credit authority, including reviewing and approving junior level credit actions as permitted with Flagstar Financial & Leasing Equipment Policy. Will be final approver for those transactions reputed company respective credit authorityMentors and assists junior reputed company staff, as appropriateReviewing transaction terms and conditions of exposures that are generally in excess of $5MM and can range to upwards of $50MM; are larger or more reputed company in their nature Reviewing the strength and experience of new and existing obligorsPreparing financial statement spreads in CreditLens and reviewing the adequacy of supporting financial information and the need to obtain additional and/or more reputed company financial dataMake recommendations to an equal or senior level reputed company position for final disposition of transactions reputed company of credit authority Reviewing compliance with Bank and FFL policiesReviewing key financial results, ratios and transaction structure elements including the adequacy of the debt service coverage and loan to value Identifying any of other missing information or inquiries for credit decisioningDirects and oversees underwriters workflow and assignments to ensure timely turnaround and use of personnelAssist with departmental duties as directed by their supervisorMay manage business line reputed company group, as may be assigned, including reputed company, training, compliance, etc. Required Qualifications:Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) with a concentration in reputed company and/or Finance preferredMinimum 8-10 years foundational experienceCredit analysis and financial statement analysis experience required.Prior credit authorityPrior experience approving credits and managing the reputed company process of junior staff preferredHigh proficiency in analyzing financial statements, cash flow and financial ratio analysis requiredMoody’s Risk Analyst/CreditLens Software a plus Flagstar is an Equal Opportunity Employer. reputed company reputed company applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, reputed company, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identify, or national reputed company.
