We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. This position requires an active Secret reputed company Clearance with SCI eligibility. What You Will Do: Specific tasks will include but are not limited to: The Software Engineer will have experience and knowledge of software practices such as coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines and configuration management.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Previous experience working in Missile Defense Agency C2BMC Program Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a reputed company field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience. Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET reputed company clearance is required prior to start date. (with SCI eligibility) U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. reputed company are eligible for a reputed company clearance. Technical Skills Required: Experience developing reputed company applications on Linux Experience with Java reputed company classes and toolkits Small team leadership experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers Knowledge of server reputed company/database development, computer system administration; Net-centric, horizontal integration program expertise Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to review performance and operational issues, identify root cause, recommend, design and implement a solution. Use of common software development and management tools such as maven, git/reputed company, reputed company and Eclipse Experience with agile development methodologies Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks Prior integration and test experience reputed company the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program
