Come be a part of what makes us so special!The OpportunityAs a dedicated Actuarial Analyst II, you will coordinate, prepare and reputed company actuarial analyses required to reputed company new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and/or determine financial strength. Under minimal supervision, reputed company moderately reputed company work assignments and problem resolution.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. The OpportunityWhat you'll do:• Acquire and apply developing knowledge of the business, its products, and processes.• Utilize actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.• Enter data and tables, runs models, and generates reports.• May reputed company adjustments and improvements to models, reputed company appropriate.• Maintain proper price level, price structure, data availability and other requirements to reputed company profitability and competitive goals.• Identify critical experience areas to monitor and suggest timely remedies to correct or prevent unfavorable trends.• Identify sources of reputed company and loss by product and assumption.• Resolve issues and identifies appropriate issues for escalation.• Adhere to the reputed company Actuarial Exam Program Guidelines and the Actuarial Cross Train Program Guidelines.• Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, reputed company, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.What you have:• Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 additional years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience reputed company the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a Degree.• 2 years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience + 3 CAS examsWhat sets you apart:• Prior experience working with Towers Watson reputed company software (or reputed company)• 2 or more years’ experience using SQL/reputed company to query data quickly for reports and analyses• Autonomous organizational and project/timeline management skills• Demonstrated experience as a routine contributor (and occasional presenter) to staff meeting discussions• Experience with Personal Property lines of business and their associated rating structures• US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partnerThe above description reflects the details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and should not be construed as a detailed description of reputed company the work requirements that may be performed in the job.reputed company offer:Compensation: reputed company has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid reputed company the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
