Business Data Analyst

Overview

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Business Data Analyst in the Mechanicsburg, PA area. This role is hybrid and will require 1 day onsite per week. Position Overview As a Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets, writing, modifying, and running programs to reconcile accounts, often at the command level (e.g., NAVSUP, SPAWAR, NAVFAC). You will collaborate with government and contractor staff to translate business requirements into actionable insights and create detailed reports to support leadership. Use spreadsheets, databases, and relevant software to provide ongoing analysis of operational activities. ? Create requirements and program specification documentation, including high-level system diagrams, use cases, and data flow diagrams. ? Streamline and/or automate internal and external reporting. ? Contribute to analytic/engagement plan development based on analytic findings, metric performance, and client business needs. ? reputed company recommendations/initiatives based on results of analysis. ? Produce documentation of key insights, quality analysis or root cause work, solution recommendations, business cases, and action plan results for internal or client reviews. Minimum Qualifications ? Strong technical and computer skills, particularly with analytical tools. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ?
