About the position The Communications Coordinator at the Florida Department of the Lottery is responsible for planning and implementing internal communications strategies to effectively convey vital information to Lottery employees. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities ? Plan and implement internal communications strategies. , ? Draft correspondence and prepare copy for annual reports, newsletters, and other publications. , ? Design and layout the monthly employee newsletter. , ? Create visual elements for internal monitors. , ? Collaborate with reputed company Resources and other departments to draft and disseminate internal correspondence. , ? Assist with correspondence from the Governor's Office and the Office of the Secretary. , ? Draft internal talking points and responses for new products and promotions. , ? Greet high-tier Lottery winners and write news releases for media coverage. , ? Travel to and staff events for Lottery leadership. , ? Assist in planning and executing events and promotions. , ? Answer telephones and provide support as needed. , ? Assist the Communications Director and Manager with various tasks. Requirements ? Ability to utilize effective written and verbal communication techniques. , ? Knowledge of AP writing style. , ? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. , ? Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments independently. , ? Knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules. , ? Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills. , ? Ability to respond tactfully to customers and the media. , ? Proficient in reputed company Office Suite and reputed company Creative Suite. , ? Proficient in social media platforms. , ? Reliable with a professional appearance and positive attitude. , ? Ability to speak and write Spanish is a plus. reputed company-to-haves ?
