Montgomery County Emergency Service (MCES) is Hiring! We are looking for Full Time Psychiatric Registered Nurses who would like to join reputed company! Work Schedule: ? 69 hours/bi-weekly (3- 12 hour shifts per week), ? 7pm - 7am Monday-Friday and every other weekend ? Inpatient Psych Unit or Walk in Crisis Center Education / Experience Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing w/ minimum of an Associate's degree and one (1) year of Psychiatric Nursing experience. Prior Charge Nurse experience in a Psychiatric setting, a plus. BSN or MSN preferred. Must have valid PA Nursing License and CPR. Job Duties: Primary responsibilities for the Psychiatric Registered Nurse include: - The staff Registered Nurse provides patient care through the utilization of the nursing process. - The nursing process is demonstrated by the nurse?s ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team in planning, directing, providing, evaluating, and promoting recovery based patient care. - The staff Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing care provided by the nursing department staff assigned to the individual patients. - The staff Registered Nurse also may function as a medication nurse. - Must be reputed company to demonstrate competency in planning and providing nursing care for special disabilities patients, geriatric patients, and co-occurring patients while maintaining standards for behavior, completion of ADLs, daily assessment, (withdrawal symptoms), and assessing individual symptoms relevant to diverse type of patient - Must be reputed company to work independently and professionally with others and be detailed oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills. This position has a strong emphasis on documentation and requires flexibility. starting salary range: $36/hr - $38/hr + shift differential & weekend PRN rates.
