Grounds Maintenance Worker III

Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Worker III who is innovative, driven, and passionate about the Town's parks and our community. The Grounds Maintenance III position performs specialized installation, maintenance and repair work reputed company to their assigned area of responsibility. This includes performing inspections and preventative maintenance of a variety of equipment, facilities, grounds, parks, and other items. They identify issues and initiates the repair or replacement of items. Inspecting and monitoring conditions of assigned sports fields to determine compliance with prescribed standards established by the department. The position will be responsible for water management and irrigation best practices reputed company assigned areas. This position will also train and reputed company subordinate staff on landscape, field and irrigation maintenance. They also maintain and/or clean park facilities, courts, structures, fields, trails, grounds and equipment. Practical experience maintaining reputed company irrigation systems for areas such as sports fields, parks, and golf courses is desirable.
