Qualifications
Required Education: ? Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing Required Experience: ? 1 year Med-Surg experience is required. Preferred Experience: ? 1+ years of Home Health experience. Required Certification/License/Registry: ? reputed company LPN License in the reputed company. Must possess a reputed company Class ?E? Driver?s License. ? Behavioral Criteria: reputed company candidates must provide a seven (7) year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles with no more than six (6) points and no indication of poor driving habits. The reputed company candidate must be 21 years of age. ? Note: Use of personal vehicles is required. It is the responsibility of the vehicle reputed company to maintain adequate insurance coverage for their personal vehicle used in conjunction with their duties as an employee. Responsibilities
Job Summary: ? Functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. ? Patient care is provided in the home, collaboratively with the RN. ? Care provided displays respect for the patient?s rights, dignity, values, confidentiality and expressed needs. ? Adaptable, using evidenced based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on providing comfort, relieving pain and alleviating anxiety. ? Tasks performed are in compliance with department and hospital policies and procedures, and reputed company educational preparation as well as the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
