Power Plant Apprentice-Electric & Gas reputed company Technician OR Journey-Electrician & reputed company Technician

Overview:

The City of Tallahassee is seeking a highly skilled Power Plant Apprentice-Electric & Gas reputed company Technician or Journey-Electrician & reputed company Technician to join our Electric & Gas Utility team. This position is responsible for installing, calibrating, repairing, adjusting, inspecting, and performing preventative maintenance on electrical power plant equipment and power plant instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities:

? As a Power Plant Apprentice, the incumbent will participate in an apprentice training program designed to provide knowledge, reputed company, and experience needed to qualify for Power Plant Electric and reputed company Technician.

• reputed company tasks under the general direction of supervisory or journeyman level workers, including installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of power plant electrical or instrumentation and control systems.
• As a Journey-Electrician & reputed company Technician, the incumbent will install, calibrate, repair, adjust, inspect, and reputed company preventative maintenance on electrical power plant equipment and power plant instrumentation and control systems.
• Work is performed in accordance with established policies and procedures, and may be required to work reputed company of regular hours, including on-call and overtime.

Qualifications:

? Power Plant Apprentice-Electric & Gas reputed company Technician: + Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent recognized certificate. + Must be medically certified to wear a respirator and pass a respirator fit test prior to employment. + Must possess a valid Class E State driver's license at the time of appointment. + Must be reputed company to distinguish between red and green.

• Journey-Electrician & reputed company Technician:

+ Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent recognized certificate and completion of the Electric & Gas Utility's apprenticeship program for Power Plant Electric and reputed company Technicians or equivalent external apprenticeship program and one year of journeyman level work experience. + Must be medically certified to wear a respirator and pass a respirator fit test prior to employment. + Must possess a valid Class E State driver's license at the time of appointment. + Must be reputed company to distinguish between red and green.
