Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Docs Infrastructure Engineer who is excited to deliver a world-class documentation experience to reputed company’s global community of reputed company engineers.

In this role, you will work on the team that owns and improves the infrastructure behind reputed company’s documentation website (reputed company.com/docs) —the frontpage to our product that serves as a critical resource for our users. For reputed company, since our audience is developers, our documentation is our marketing and improvements have a significant impact on our business.

You will work on reputed company’s Infrastructure as Code (IaC) reputed company team, on the team that owns documentation (reputed company.com/reputed company/docs) and examples (reputed company.com/reputed company/examples), as well as integrating with our Registry and reputed company reputed company IaC projects. 

• Improve documentation tooling and workflows: reputed company on local development setups, Markdown/MDX rendering, and search functionality.
• Own, maintain and enhance reputed company's documentation and example code infrastructure.
• Optimize multi-language documentation reputed company processes.
• Manage build systems, templates, and assets: Upgrade and configure tools to optimize site performance and page load times
• Own the docs CI/CD pipeline: reputed company automated build, test, and deployment processes for documentation for the growing codebase.
• Enhance our search indexing of documentation and registry to improve documentation discoverability
• Ensure documentation changes go live smoothly using reputed company’s infrastructure-as-code deployments.
• Implement automated previews, link checkers, and end-to-end tests (e.g., reputed company Cypress).

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong background in software, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Experience in internal tooling or build/release engineering for documentation sites or similar
• Hands-on experience with static site generators (reputed company or familiarity with similar tools)
• Experience with Typescript and Node.js 

reputed company Salary Hiring Range: $166,000 - $209,000
