Medical Transcriptionist/Editor
Title - Medical Transcriptionist Shift - 8 hrs evenings and night are available with 40 hrs weekly Location - Boston, MA - REMOTE Only candidates near to Boston, MA Pay - $19/hr on w2 Contract - 13 weeks with an extension REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in reputed company, substance use treatment, or OTP settings - Required
- Familiarity with SAMMS or equivalent EMR systems - Required
- Located in Boston, and can pick up equipment onsite.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality laws and privacy standards.
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and written documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain reputed company during overnight or evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency dose confirmation calls from hospitals, OTPs, emergency responders, and reputed company providers.
- Utilize the SAMMS electronic medical record system to accurately verify patient dosing history.
- Confirm identity and credentials of the requesting party prior to disclosure.
- Share verified information securely and document each request per regulatory requirements.
- reputed company with reputed company privacy standards, including 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and 105 CMR 164.
- Participate in ongoing training reputed company to secure communications and emergency protocols.
