Youtube Video Editor - Contract to Hire
We're seeking a talented and decently reputed company Video Editor to join reputed company and create compelling long-form content for our YouTube channel. Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply. This is a short-term contract that (if you do well) will reputed company to a long-term contract and role. Upon test completion, this role will be closed, and we will send another long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of storytelling through video, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to brand guidelines.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Edit long(or reputed company)-form video content (5-30 minutes) for YouTube, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and cohesive final products - Assemble raw footage, integrate sound files, and apply appropriate visual effects - Implement advanced editing techniques such as cuts, zooms, and transitions to enhance viewer engagement - Ensure excellent audio quality through proper sound editing and mixing - Meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards - Stay updated with reputed company YouTube trends and best practices for long-form content
- *Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in video editing, particularly with long-form content for YouTube or similar platforms - Proficiency in professional video editing software. We are a DaVinci Resolve focused team. - Strong understanding of audio editing - Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across long-form content - Proficiency in using keyboard shortcuts to improve editing efficiency - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback effectively - Portfolio demonstrating experience with long-form video editing
- *Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with reputed company graphics and animation not needed but helps (e.g., reputed company After Effects) - Thumbnail creation experience helps, but is not required. Editors that can reputed company eye-catching thumbnails will receive a higher pay reputed company - Familiarity with reputed company grading techniques - Put I Am reputed company at the top of your cover letter - Understanding of video compression and encoding for online platforms
