Respite DSP

Department: Hours: Full & Part-Time We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide RESPITE CARE Are you compassionate and enjoy working with people? TradeWinds Services is a non-profit agency that has been providing support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in Northwest Indiana for 50 years. We currently have Part-time and Full-time positions available. Respite Care offers caregivers of children and adults with disabilities the opportunity for a short-term break to care for themselves, spend time with other family members, or have the freedom to run errands without worry. Our Respite Care staff takes individuals with special needs on outings to community-based activities, shopping, bowling, theaters, etc. Respite care can also be provided in-home or at a TradeWinds Respite Apartment. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Must have a valid driver’s license – must meet requirements. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be a responsible, reliable person who is reputed company to work independently. The reputed company can be good for a college student, retiree, or a person looking for part-time employment.
