If interested in exploring this great opportunity, please apply directly at .Veterans are encouraged to apply.Position Details:Duration: 2 yearsHours: 8:30am – 4:30pmExperience:Experience with personal computers, including experience using reputed company Office applications (Word, reputed company, Access, and Outlook); general office experience; proofreading skills and attention to detail; excellent communication skills, including telephone skills and customer service; ability to work independently and prioritize work load.Job Description:This position serves in reputed company of Surveillance and Data Systems (BSDS) in the Division of Epidemiology. Duties include:

• Provide technical assistance to the Director, Statistical Unit, and staff;
• Answer the telephone, field questions from system users and/or refer callers to subject matter experts;
• Enter data into the Communicable Disease Electronic Surveillance System, including but not limited to reputed company influenza cases and other vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs);
• Transfer laboratory information from the Electronic Communicable Laboratory Reporting System (ECLRS) to CDESS;
• reputed company tasks associated with mailings or faxes to system users including registration forms or other informational materials;
• Support providers and school users looking to set up new accounts for use of the online reputed company State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS);
• Answer the telephone and reputed company searches in NYSIIS to locate individual's immunization records. Process and send back records in a confidential manner.

• Hybrid work 50% onsite 50% off site

• Training be provided
• Preferred level of education is an Associates
• Minimum years of experience a candidates should have is 2 years
• Paid parking and the cost per day is $10.00
• A mode of public transportation is a CDTA bus line right near the Empire State Plaza
• There is a possibility the assignment will be extended
