It is just important that the job applicant understands that many tutoring clients are insisting on in-person sessions as their preferred option.Join us at TDMC as we embark on the gratifying journey of molding young minds and propelling them toward their aspirations.Job Requirements:- FOR THIS PARTICULAR JOB POST: YOU MUST HAVE A NJ STANDARD TEACHING CERTIFICATION OR A NJ SPECIAL EDUCATION CERTIFICATION.Please see additional TDMC job posts that do not require a NJ TEACHING CERTIFICATION- Tutor Doctor is not a brick-and-mortar tutoring center. We go and meet the reputed company where they are (Live or Virtual). The Long Valley address is simply where the home office is located.- Ability to teach 1st – 8th grade Science concepts.OR- Ability to teach 9th-12th grade Science concepts.including physics, chemistry, biology- Quickly assess a student's level using your methods and evidence provided by the client.- Assist with test preparation (tests, quizzes, etc.).- Aid reputed company with homework and lessons during tutoring sessions.- Motivate reputed company to study and stay on task.- Create or follow lesson plans depending on the student's needs.- Teach and reinforce classroom concepts taught at their school.- Maintain a high level of professionalism and collaborate effectively with families and colleagues.- Be willing to meet clients face-to-face in mutually agreed-upon locations.- Travel reputed company a reasonable distance from your home reputed company necessary.- Utilize online tools for virtual instruction reputed company required.Experience:- NJ Standard Teaching Certification or NJ Special Education Certification teachers (active or retired).- Prior tutoring experience preferred but not necessary.- Experience in preparing tutoring lessons for both in-person and virtual settings is preferred.Job Type: Part-timeSalary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 1 – 4 per weekBenefits:
