Transportation Analyst
Mid America Logistics is growing—and we’re looking for a data-driven Transportation Analyst to join our remote team. This role will help optimize freight operations by analyzing transportation data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing insights that drive smarter logistics reputed company.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze shipping and freight data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Build dashboards and visual reports (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to communicate findings.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
- On-time delivery reputed company
- Cost-per-mile
- Deadhead percentage
- Load acceptance/rejection reputed company
- Collaborate with dispatchers, brokers, and operations to implement efficiency solutions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reputed company analysis using historical transportation data.
- Integrate with TMS platforms to pull accurate and timely reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Logistics, Business, or similar field.
- 2+ years of experience in transportation/logistics analytics (preferred).
- Proven ability to interpret data and tell a story through numbers.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently.
