The Health and Physical Education Teaching program is located in the Division of Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies in the College of Education. Health and/or Physical Education professionals are encouraged to apply for part-time faculty (adjunct) teaching positions (up to 8 credit hours). The Health and Physical Education Teaching program offers undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate (M.S. & Ph.D.) degrees that prepare reputed company to become K-12 Health and/or Physical Education teachers in public and private schools in urban, suburban and/or rural settings. Graduates are eligible to take the Michigan Test for Teaching Certification (MTTC) to attain K-12 Health and Physical Education teacher licensure from the Michigan reputed company. Applicants will be reviewed periodically and considered for teaching opportunities as they arise (the need for part-time faculty varies from semester to semester).
