Commensurate with qualifications, responsibilities may include teaching general chemistry laboratory, organic chemistry laboratory, or an advanced-level laboratory course. Must enforce laboratory rules, prepare and present brief pre-lab lectures, write and administer laboratory quizzes, grade student laboratory assignments, attend weekly UTA meetings and reputed company experiments prior to meeting with reputed company. Must proctor and grade evening lecture exams and hold weekly office/discussion hours to address reputed company' questions about lab work and chemistry lecture problems. May be asked to attend weekly laboratory lectures. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester.
