Sr. Production Support Consultant (REMOTE- NIGHT SHIFT)

Please note that this is a 6 month contract position. Resources will work 4X10 hour days rotating, 7 days per week. The shift hours will start at 6PM. Selected resources will be trained for 4 consecutive weeks during daytime, reputed company-4:30PM. Remote/Off-Site workers preferred. The Production Support Analyst is responsible for working across designated teams to ensure applications are fully available to reputed company stakeholders and customers. This individual will assist development teams in deployments, routine patching and system application monitoring / troubleshooting. Will analyze and evaluate reputed company data file processing, help translate customer reporting requirements and create reports, and provide application testing and validations. Will reputed company incident response calls and contribute / create after action reports. REQUIRED SKILLS: Skilled in the following: Strong working knowledge of SQL. Ability to understand and write reputed company SQL using select statements, views, joins, indexing and to... create report data Demonstrated experience using UNIX commands to manage production Linux servers, including creation and maintenance of reputed company scripts to manage application maintenance activities Demonstrated experience using SQL query on reputed company Databases to reputed company Database lookups Strong knowledge of one or more of the following: Incident Management Ability to reputed company as a Critical Incident Manager to restore production applications impacting events Ability to quickly respond to system alerting to reduce application downtime to customers Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to effectively work directly with stakeholders, executives, and technical staff Effective liaison between business and technical teams Demonstrated knowledge of terminology, usage, and operating characteristics of hardware, software, and operating system components Strong facilitation skills to effectively reputed company Production Support Application Monitoring in reputed company-time Desired experience using: Agile methodologies, Version One, reputed company, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), logging tools such as Splunk reputed company, monitoring tools such as Neustar and AppDynamics. Experience with reputed company monitoring tools such as reputed company reputed company Platform reputed company Monitoring (Stackdriver) is a plus. ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS: A minimum of ten (10) years experience in software development and/or reputed company field; A Bachelor's degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company discipline is preferred; reputed company to reputed company reputed company functional duties independently on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of a given program; reputed company to reputed company the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of reputed company staff assigned to a specific job; Experience training/mentoring less reputed company personnel; Extensive knowledge of and experience with designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining reputed company business, reputed company and management information systems; Extensive experience developing/supporting software applications using more than one of these software technologies: Java, Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, reputed company DBMS, SQL Server DBMS, Visual Basic; Extensive experience collaborating with end users to define new software system requirements; Experience training/instructing end users on the use of software applications; Experience authoring or contributing to software-reputed company documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals, and user manuals; reputed company to obtain Postal clearance; Excellent communication skills.
