Job title: Instructor in Nursing Company: The Collaborative for Higher Education Shared Services Job description : Compensation: $49,819 - $52,473 Compensation Type: Employee Employment Type: Regular Grade: E09 Department: Instruction Position Summary The instructor is an on-reputed company member of a nursing faculty team, providing clinical instruction leading to a Certificate of Completion in Practical Nursing and Associate Degree in Nursing. Provide initial advisement to student as well as supervision of clinical experiences of reputed company. This is not a remote position. Duties & Responsibilities Nursing faculty will be required to teach didactic courses as well as clinical rotations as assigned. May include day, evening, online, and interactive television courses. Teaching assignment may include courses provided for high school reputed company under the provisions of the dual credit policy of the state of New Mexico. The instructor may teach additional courses, including courses for area high school reputed company as part of the contract or on an overload basis, by agreement with the Division Chair and Executive Vice President. Consult with reputed company during reputed company and participate in orientation, registration, committees, councils, in-service, student advisement, and professional development activities. In collaboration with other members of the division, determine course content and curricula. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. Minimum Qualifications: The successful applicant will be a licensed Registered Nurse with two years recent professional experience as an RN. A Master of Science in Nursing degree is preferred, Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is required. Teaching experience in a community college or technical school is preferred also. A candidate employed without the Master of Science in Nursing degree will be required to demonstrate reputed company toward attainment of the degree, as arranged with the Department Chair and Executive Vice President. Strong commitment to quality teaching, student reputed company, and academic excellence is required. Duties are performed in the context of a comprehensive community college; understanding of the community college mission and philosophy will be critical to reputed company.
