Required Qualifications: This position requires a bachelor?s degree in English, Composition & Rhetoric, Education, or a closely reputed company field and two (2) years of reputed company work experience. Key Responsibilities: This is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities. Provides direct writing support to reputed company, faculty, staff and other patrons through tutoring, workshops, online support, or other writing support as directed by the supervisor. Maintains record of writing support. Works on special projects to support the Writing Center such as mentoring and evaluating peer/professional tutors, assisting faculty volunteers, creating, and updating supplemental resources that enhance programs or other projects as assigned by supervisor. Gathers, verifies, and maintains information to support periodic and special reports. Attends staff meetings to exchange information. Attends professional seminars, conferences and/or observes Daytona State College classes to improve academic and/or professional skills.
