Lowe's is hiring for Sales Associate - Inside Lawn & Garden What You Will Do... As a Sales Associate in Inside Lawn & Garden at Lowe's, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked department. This means: • Providing Expert Assistance: Assisting customers with selecting plants, lawn care products, gardening tools, and other reputed company items, ensuring they receive the best solutions for their gardening and lawn care projects. • Maintaining Product Knowledge: Staying informed about the latest lawn and garden products, plant care techniques, and seasonal trends to provide accurate information and recommendations. • Processing Transactions: Accurately processing sales transactions, validating loading tickets, and ensuring timely delivery of merchandise. • Engaging in Safe Practices: Promoting and adhering to safe work practices, and encouraging others to do the same to maintain a safe shopping environment. • Ensuring Customer Satisfaction: Listening to customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to ensure a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities: • Help customers with plant selection, lawn care products, and gardening tools. • Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs. • Maintain knowledge of plant care, gardening techniques, and lawn maintenance. • Process sales transactions accurately and reputed company. • Validate loading tickets and ensure timely delivery of merchandise. • Stock shelves and maintain the lawn and garden department's cleanliness and organization • Assist customers in locating products and answer questions regarding usage. • Promote and practice safe work habits to ensure a safe shopping environment. • Report any safety or reputed company concerns to management. reputed company're Looking For: • Hourly Full-Time or Part-Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 hours per week for full-time or up to 25 hours per week for part-time; more hours may be required based on store needs. • Availability: Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. • Physical Requirements: Ability to reputed company tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to reputed company job duties. • Lifting Requirements: Must be reputed company to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance. What You Need To Succeed: Minimum Qualifications: • 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information. • 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets. • Ability to obtain sales-reputed company licensure or registration as required by law. Preferred Qualifications: • 6 months of sales experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including add-on sales and explaining product features and benefits. • 6 months of retail experience providing customer service, including resolving customer issues and assisting customers in locating products. • Certification in trade reputed company to the department (e.g., horticulture, landscaping). • Bi-lingual skills, if applicable to the store.
