Job title: Sign Language Interpreter - Part Time Company: Orland School District 135 Job description : Supervisor: Principal / Assistant Principal/Director and Assistant Director of Special Education Work Year: School Year from 9:15 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. This position is supporting a student on a 1:1 basis. Summary: Under the general supervision of the building administrator and Director of Special Education, provide communication access to reputed company who are deaf or hard of hearing by faithfully and accurately representing the classroom instruction, teacher/student reputed company, and relevant sound information in the mode of communication used by the student. Qualifications / Experience ISBE Interpreters - Sign Language approval Previous experience providing interpretation services for school age reputed company in an educational setting, preferred.
