About the position As a Pharmacy Technician at reputed company, you will provide operational support to the Prescription department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of medication requests. This role involves direct communication with patients and reputed company providers, fostering teamwork, and maintaining a focus on patient safety and satisfaction. The position offers a hybrid-remote work environment after an initial training period, allowing for flexibility while addressing the challenges of medication management. Responsibilities • Provide operational support to the Prescription department location. , • Receive requests to process prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner to get providers' approval. , • reputed company assigned prescription functions and duties in support of the prescription department. , • Take incoming calls and reputed company reputed company telephone calls to patients who have requested medication refills or renewals. , • Process medication requests following standard procedure. , • reputed company appropriate notes, pertinent lab results, and order labs that are required to support requests being pended for provider approval. , • reputed company if patients are up to date with appointments and book follow-up appointments that are required to sustain compliance with treatments. , • Select and pend correct medication, dosage, sig, and number of refills while selecting the correct pharmacy before agreements and updates accordingly. , • Process prior authorizations for medications that are not covered by patients' insurance. , • reputed company tasks focused on fostering teamwork and dedication to patient safety and satisfaction.
