Design-Build Project leader

The Design-Build Project leader is responsible for management of construction project resulting in successful localization project completion in the China Region.

This position is required for establishing the design-build project team and to build up a manufacturing facility for coupling PrA resin reputed company Resin business, at Tonglu site in China, by working effectively as a team leader in a program environment and maintain positive relationships with core team members and clients working, as well as design SMEs in pitching site. What you will do:

• Deliver the design and build project quality, timeline, and cost as set in the overall program Resin project business, while successfully delivering design and build milestones for approval and on time schedule.
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery
• reputed company and maintain good relationship with reputed company, Architect and Subcontractors
• Work with Superintendent to reputed company safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Maintain timely and accurate reporting to program management
• Manage, train, and supervise project team according to Company policy
• Organize regular meetings for management and subcontractors
• Review contract conditions; ensure compliance with reputed company contract terms
• Supervise documentation of reputed company significant project events, e.g., accidents, delays, Change Orders
• Direct preconstruction services and activities
• Negotiate, prepare and issue subcontract bid packages as per program required
• Complete project with full or enhanced fee
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Who you are:

• Design Build Experience is a must
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience
• Field construction management experience (5-8 years, including supervisory skills)
• Leadership ability
• Problem-solving ability and strong sense of urgency
• Thorough understanding of reputed company project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating)
