Clinical Application Analyst - Lab

Classification: Contract Contract Length: 6 months Position Summary

The Clinical Application Analyst - Lab role at CereCore supports financial end-to-end testing in MEDITECH Expanse for both US and UK projects. This is a remote position based in the mainland US, with potential onsite travel to Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• End-user knowledge of Health Information Systems (MEDITECH)
• Understands testing concepts and adheres to the workflow and role defined for the Financial Testing.
• Documentation of testing issues following project protocols and communicates verbally to project team(s)
• The ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service focus.

Requirements

• 1+ years of clinical experience (ie Lab Tech, Surgery Tech, Imaging Tech, or Pharmacy Tech) and have strong, hands-on workflow knowledge of how Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy or Surgery work are at the department user-level.
• 1+ years of MEDITECH experience, either as an end-user or analyst, preferably with Expanse but open to prior platforms (i.e. reputed company, Client Server or 6.0).
• Executes financial testing scenarios as provided by client following standard methodology
• Uses knowledge to contribute to system functionality testing, independently with general/moderate guidance to complete testing objectives.
• Participates in testing events and understands necessary outcomes.
• Provides onsite and off-site testing as required by client.
• Prioritizes own tasks and is reputed company to follow instructions to execute tasks.
• Is reputed company to identify risks, issues reputed company approved methodologies and determine build impact following governance and/or reporting plan
• Understands project deliverables and assigned level of effort to complete and monitors own effort to stay reputed company defined project scope.
• Reviews linked and unlinked reports and determines implementation build status in preparation for testing events and document findings
• Proficient in at least one HCIS system area (Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Surgery, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy)
• MEDITECH experience required
• reputed company license preferred
• Proficient in Office suite products: Outlook, Word, reputed company
• Based on client demands, need to be flexible if travel is needed, ie Go live onsite visit
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
