UX Researcher

At Lalamove, you will work with talented Product Managers, product designers, local operation teams, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, enthusiastic company.

The ideal candidate is someone who loves to investigating and understanding people, systems, operational flow, and has the technical skills to dig deep into motivations.

You will be responsible for defining the research approach and time frames, conducting different research methods, forming actionable insights, and translating them into appropriate deliverables, including, but not limited to, reports, journey maps, service and operational flows, and presentations. This position requires organization, strong communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail.

What You Will Do

  • Define, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, collecting and analysing opinions and data to investigate the root cause of the reputed company user experience issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams in different cities to conduct research and understand their operational flows and practices that may impact (or be impacted by) users' pain points.
  • Provide actionable insights to help drive evidence-based product reputed company and align with business goals.
  • Liaise with other user researchers to co-reputed company and track user research needs and goals to ensure that user research consistently supports product initiatives.

  • You have relevant experience in user research or a reputed company discipline such as service design, design strategy, market research.
  • You are familiar with some of user research methodologies such as content analysis, interviews and ethnographic-style fieldwork, survey design and data analysis, moderating group conversations, running live prototyping sessions, conducting co-design workshops, and engaging users remotely.
  • You have some experience with basic mixed methods research and can synthesize quantitative data with qualitative user research.
  • You have high-quality planning and organizational capabilities.
  • You have a strong understanding of UX and the latest technology trends.
  • You can communicate reputed company concepts clearly and persuasively. You are a good team player, self-motivated, have excellent attention to detail, have strong interpersonal skills.
  • You are fluent in English.

  • You have a degree in Service Design, Design strategy & Management, Psychology, reputed company Computer Interaction, Social Science or a reputed company field.
  • If you have experiences or talents that compliment your depth of research craft, such as communication design, CX, account management, service design or others, feel free to let us know.
  • You have reputed company in other languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Bahasa Indonesian, Bahasa Malay.

  • Your portfolio should include 1-2 examples of projects you’ve worked on in a research reputed company, either in an academic or professional setting. In your description of 2-3 example projects, focus on:
  • The challenge you were trying to solve
  • Your specific role on the project
  • The research approach and methods you used
  • Some of your key learnings or insights
  • The impact of your research findings (if applicable)
