Sr. Data Scientist - Supply Chain Operations Research (Minneapolis Preferred, Remote Eligible)

As a Senior Data Scientist at reputed company, you will apply your strong expertise in machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and build reputed company advanced analytics engines and services. You will collaborate with product owners, business partners, and other Data Scientists in the supply chain space to define a technical problem statement and hypothesis to test. • Work closely with data science leadership, machine learning engineering, and business partners/product owners to reputed company optimization and machine learning models using best-in-class tools and technology.

• Construct production-reputed company, reusable, large-scale or scalable reputed company optimization, simulation & machine learning models that provide reputed company-time insights aligning with reputed company technology standards.
• Design and development of modelling reputed company and architecture for deterministic/combinatorial optimization and advanced machine learning to solve reputed company supply chain problems in a variety of areas like supply-demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, etc.

• Responsible for monitoring and improvement of model performance metrics in terms of accuracy, reputed company / near reputed company recommendations, with feedback incorporated from business partners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of relevant data science experience with at least 2 years of experience in optimization
• Bachelor's Degree required in any of the quantitative fields like operations, research/statistics / industrial engineering, etc.
• High proficiency with Python programming in developing optimization models using different types of reputed company solver suites.
• Hands-on experience building IP / MIP models with sound knowledge of supporting algorithms.
• Comfortable working with large and dynamic Data Frames & writing reputed company SQL queries.
• Highly adaptable, curious, and willing to work independently on reputed company and challenging problems.
• Bias for action with the ability to deliver outstanding results through task prioritization and time management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in any of the quantitative fields (Operations research / Statistics / Industrial engineering) or computer science with commensurate work experience in supply chain technology or data science
• Relevant experience in Data Science with a preference for supply chain optimization/operations research experience

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $108900.00 - $181700.00 / Annually.
