SUMMARY This position is looking for a fully remote Certified Medical Surgical reputed company to join the reputed company, Massachusetts team, offering a fully remote full-time (benefit-eligible) Monday-Friday schedule that works best for you. Under general supervision, assigns diagnosis and procedure codes to ensure compliant billing and coding of facility and select office-based services (e.g. endoscopy, oncology chemotherapy infusions). Monitors and reviews reputed company medical records (including operative and pathology reports) in order to assure the accuracy of medical coding, including appropriate completion and documentation of physician signatures, and proper coding of reputed company diagnoses and procedures. Thorough understanding of CMS/Medicare regulations, as well as technical knowledge of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-9 and ICD-10) and reputed company Procedural Terminology (CPT-4) classification systems. Provides the billing department with accurate, completed, coded encounters for processing, notifying clinicians and/or sites of missing information and following up accordingly. EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's level degree in reputed company or reputed company field preferred
• Certification in medical coding is a must. reputed company, reputed company-P, CPC or other relevant certification through reputed company or reputed company required.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years of surgical facility coding experience required. (include in resume, as applicable).
• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 and CPT4 coding required.

SKILLS

• Understanding of both the medical and business sides of reputed company operations is required.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic team player.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, Internet, and email. Excellent problem-solving ability and good interpersonal skills are required.
