Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Review Outpatient Facility medical codes assigned by the reputed company, then provide feedback and corrections as needed;
• Meet productivity and accuracy expectations.

Qualifications

Required:

• RHIA, RHIT, reputed company, or reputed company-P credential from reputed company; CPC, COC or CIC from reputed company
• 3 or more years of recent Outpatient coding experience
• Top coding skills in specialty area. Coding test will be administered to demonstrate proficiency.
• Ability to work from home using high-speed wired Cable, DSL, or Satellite internet

Preferred:

• Experience with EMR, multiple encoders and abstracting systems
